Our History
Founded in 1994 by brothers Joe and Sal Colatruglio, IMG is the auto service facility everyone has been searching for. Specializing in imports and difficult-to-find problems, the brothers have dedicated themselves to serving the Union County area; providing quality work at affordable prices. With 24 years of automotive experience, continuous training in automotive high-tech, and commitment to providing honest advice; customers have become long-time friends. International Motor Group is made up of not just the owners and dedicated employees, but these customers as well.
Meet The Owners
Sal Colatruglio
Sal has been in business since 1985 and has not slowed down since. Over the years he's accrued many certifications, helping him bring the best care he can to your car. Those certifications include: Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certified, New Jersey State-Certified Inspector, and New Jersey State-Certified for Emission Repair. When Sal is not in the shop working on your car, he enjoys playing soccer, winemaking, and motorcycling (he is an avid Formula 1 fan).
Joe Colatruglio
Joe dove into the mechanic business in 1988, where he has been ever since. Joe has been certified by the state of New Jersey for state inspections, as well as emission repair. Joe's committed to giving your car the best care. Whether it's a yearly inspection or a meticulous repair, he will treat your car like his own. In his downtime, Joe likes to play basketball, and go to the beach. He is also a huge fan of classic cars, but his favorites are the IROC Z28 and the BMW M3 Convertible.
